Description
An accessory for the chessboard, designed as the ruins of an elven fortress/castle.
Primarily intended for the Witcher-themed chess set I designed (Witcher inspired chess set - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld), but perhaps someone will want to use this for others chesses as well. Or for diferent games, like D&D..
The entire atrium is designed so that the chessboard (in my case printed at 44*44 cm) can rest on the edges of the battlement and be supported in the center by the created column support. I used the chessboard created by the author Al0yyy, I am including the link: Low Poly Pokemon Chess Set with Box and Board - Free 3D Print Model - MakerWorld, and also thanking for the beautiful chessboard.
Printed on P1S, in 9 pieces (the ruins themselves) + 1 piece column support. The pieces are cut with pegs and holes that fit together firmly. While it does require a bit of care during assembly, the entire model holds together after assembly and can be transported as a whole without fear of it falling apart.
Important:
Assembly must be done in this order:
1) plate 1+4+7, plate 2+5+8, plate 3+6+9
2) combined plates 2+5+8 assemble with combined plates 3+6+9
3) everything together.
I am also including the model cut on 4 pieces, for larger printer like H2.
I hope you enjoy it, like myself.
