Description
The Stem buddy! A great 3:rd hand tool for the home mechanic who needs to put their handlebar and stem somewhere without tangling brake cables and such in a mess when the fork is off your bike!
The model is in two parts, a base and a dowel that thread together. PLEASE READ BELOW!
Two Versions:
V1 Velcro strap fixing
A simpler version of the tool that features multiple strap fixing points and a slot in the front for a cable tie option.
NOTE:
!!V1 features a pause in the print to allow the user to insert four 10x4 magnets as a tool holder. If you prefer without, just remove the pause when sliced!!
V2 small parts cup with rubber strap fixing
A upgraded version for the mechanic who whishes a cup to place small parts in. This model features a J hook on one side and is strong and suitable enough to anchor a rubber Y strap around. This version is without magnets and pause in print.
A personal recommendation is to line the inside with felt tape. This is just a precaution to make sure that you don't scratch your bike. It will also add thickness to the inside if you have a more narrow top tube.
