Description
Bring the magic of the Pride Lands and a personal touch into your room with this Simba Light Box! This project is not just a decorative lamp, but a unique piece that captures the essence of the future king with a warm and welcoming design
✨ Unique Customization
The model you see in the photos was made with the name "Richi", but the project is designed to be fully customizable. You can easily change the name directly in Bambu Studio using the "Text" tool to adapt it for a special gift or a children's bedroom
💡 Project Features
- LED Strip Design: The circular base has been designed with an optimized internal space to house a standard LED strip, allowing you to choose your preferred brightness and color
- Integrated Cable Grommet: The base includes a rear hole for conveniently routing the power cable or USB controller
- Depth Effect: The thicknesses are calibrated to highlight Simba's face and the personalized name once the light is turned on
🛠️ The System consists of:
- Front Panel (Simba + Name): Designed to diffuse light evenly
- Custom Circular Base: A solid structure that serves as a housing for the LEDs and a support for the lithophane/panel
🔧 Assembly Instructions
- Prepare the Strip: Cut the LED strip to the necessary length to make one or two turns inside the circular base
- Glue the LEDs: Attach the strip to the inner wall of the base (use the double-sided adhesive already on the strip or a spot of hot glue)
- Wiring: Pass the cable through the rear hole of the base
- Closure: Snap Simba's front panel onto the base and light up your creation!
📦 What you need:
- LED Strip (white or RGB to change Simba's color!)
- Recommended filaments: Yellow and orange PLA for the front; Black PLA or a dark color for the base (to prevent light from "escaping" from the sides)

- Customization: In Bambu Studio, select the name object, use the "Text Shape" tool, and type the name you want!
