Experimental potato cannon round Mark III fits barrel of 2 inch PVC DIY potato cannons (50mm). Its special shape should provide smooth airflow and rotation that self-stabilizes and prolongs the flight of projectile. The Mark III version has all the updates of Mark II (https://makerworld.com/en/models/2143889-experimental-potato-cannon-round-2in-50mm-mark-ii) and on top of that it is whistling and has grooves for O-rings to improve fit in barrel. (smaller one is designed for 2mm cross section O-ring and the bigger one for cross section 3mm O-ring)

It is experimental because of its unique design and also It has 8.04 mm hole with small chamber in the tip that allows to add weight to the tip, either by screwing in M8 screw of different lengths (or M8 threaded rod cut flush with the tip or by pouring in sand or bb pellets and sealing with hot glue… You can experiment with the weight of the tip, or by wrapping scotch tape around warhead to improve tighter fit in barrel… You can also scale on X and Y axes in slicer to achieve better fit… and any other ideas are welcome in the comments…

Use on your own risk, apply all safety precautions and obey the local laws… Never shoot on anything alive.
