The 4X multiplier parts list:
6x3mm neodymium magnets: Amazon
16mm bearings: Amazon
8mm guide rods: Amazon *If you can order the longer rods and cut them down to size they're cheaper. They need to be 8mm in diameter.
3M Scotch Weld plastic & rubber superglue: Amazon
PC4-M10 fittings: Amazon *Only need 4 but I buy in bulk to keep cost down.
UPDATE: If you don't intend to use the holes for the PTFE fittings here's a link for a set of plugs to install to cover the holes: PC4-M10 Plug
I needed more options to dry more filament and decided to add another set of chambers on top of my sunlu s4. These are easy to use and require no modifications to your sunlu dryer unless you decide to remove the Sunlu S4 top covers. (I didn't want to do that.)
These expanded covers can be used independently or together with the Sunlu top covers opened and snapped into the rear of the new body. These are held on top of a new deck plate that features holes for air flow and ramps for holding the spools of filament in place. *I recommend printing these parts in ABS to withstand the temperatures.
I also included three bearing blocks for you to use as a spool roller. These will need to be cut down to the correct length approximately 81mm. A dremel cut off wheel works just be sure to flatten the ends so they run smoothly. These blocks feature recessed holes with snap in precision and a small retaining ring on the side to lock the bearings in place so they don't walk out. I've printed a few different versions of this design but this has been the best one so far.
The new chamber bodies are double wall with just the right amount of infill to leave some air gap for extra insulation. They do require a good amount of filament due to their size but they work really well and if you just want to expand your SUNLU to add 4 more spools of filament these things work great. *The two bodies have a slightly different exterior. One is blank-no logos on the exterior just plain jane as can be. The second features the SUNLU logos found on the original S4. Both plates are labeled accordingly.
The magnets need to be opposing from the chamber bodies to the deck plate so they attract and hold onto each other, the rear corner of each cover also has a place for two magnets these two should also be opposing from one cover to the other so they pull and attract to each other. I highly recommend using 3M Scotch Weld superglue to hold all of these magnets in place.
Hope these work well for you and if you have any ideas for tweaks or improvements by all means please let me know. I will also be working on upgrades and changes to the bearing blocks so these could be considered works in progress because I just haven't had a whole bunch of time to torture test them.
I appreciate everyone's support you guys have been amazing to me!
Happy printing!
