Description

I added a money clip to the back of the Slim Popup Wallet by Alex so I can carry cash with me. I also added a solid shaft to the popup mechanism as the “dimples” in the original design broke on my first use.

This design still prints with no supports, and is best printed out of PETG.

Upon which size of the "Slim popup wallet" is this based? Alex produced small, medium, and large versions.

Answering my own question, this is based on the "Large: 4-5 cards have embossed text/numbers" model.

maybe it’s my cards’ dimensions, but found this unable to grip the cards well after a few uses. could use a latch over the top to prevent cards from falling out when turned upside down. overall great idea and good looking design though.

works well, printed in PETG. Could be more snug on the clip as they slip out when it's only a single bill also the brim was kinda messy to clean up on the petg. might recommend increasing the brim gap on petg prints

I've been using this wallet for about 2 weeks and it has been great! The cards stay in, never falling out. The money clip is a bit problematic... it loosened up and now the money doesn't really stay. I wonder if there's a way to improve the design? I wonder if it would be possible to make a version of this wallet capable of holding more cards. This version holds 5 really nicely, but I really need capacity for 6, or ideally 7.
