Description

Another Drill Dust Collector, this is bigger than the previous 2 collectors I have Printed.

This can be printed as shown in the Print Preview Screen Shot it just fits on one plate

To assemble, push the handle into the 2 slots on the Top piece and glue, these are a tight fit, then align the top assembly to the bottom, ensure it fits correctly, apply some glue to the edges and hold the 2 components together with elastic bands or similar until the glue sets.

The drill hole has align target points to assist with drilling and the hole also has a chamfer to deflect the majority of the debris into the catch area.

These are a very useful addition to the tool cupboard.

Had to have one and made one for a friend. love the design, especially on octagon (?) pattern of Bambu lab. Comments mention a file with handle attached, but I couldn’t find it. Getting handle in place is a bit scary, feels like you’re gonna break the piece, but it works well once in, I also tried laying one handle over another so it’s be stronger and have a flush part against the face I could super glue. That did well too. Really well done design, thank you.

Hi, the latest version is called Dust Mate 2 Dust Collector, this model prints vertically then all you have to do is glue the top component on, thanks for downloading the Dust collector 👍 my Bambu Makerworld site name is kevr102 there are all sort of vices tools in there if you want to have a look 👀

Super functional and practical. Before I was just have a damp paper towel I would hold under to catch. This works so much better.

The little handle didn't come close to fitting in it's receptacle. But two minutes with my Dremel and a little crazy glue gel did the trick. Probably been in my top 5 most used tools for the last week. Excellent idea and implementation. Thank you for the print!

Hi, it was a snug fit as it had to be, for your information I have updated the model on 2 occasions since, the 3rd model is a lot stronger, has built in handle and prints vertically so there is only the top piece of the collector to glue in. Glad you are getting a lot of use out of the model, thanks for downloading.
