Description

3d miniature of Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California!

Includes both Disneyland Park and Adventure Park!

Check out my collection of other miniatures: https://makerworld.com/en/u/1935755220/collections/146964

Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom miniature: https://makerworld.com/en/models/216013#profileId-235139

Created in Blender using data imported with the Blosm addon.

Slicing & Printing Details

This model was designed to be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle (0.16mm layer heights) or a 0.2mm nozzle (0.08mm layer heights)

I have uploaded two different print profiles for each nozzle size with the recommended settings pre-applied ready to slice and print!

Each print profile includes two different models of Magic Kingdom, one with suspended monorail tracks and another with grounded tracks (no overhangs).

Suspended Monorail Tracks

Grounded Monorail Tracks

Note: If paths or other small details disappear after slicing, try lowering the extrusion/line width of external perimeters (outer walls) closer to 0.4mm OR use Arachne walls. Can also try enabling “Detect Thin Walls”.

The included designer print profiles have the above settings pre-applied!

This model also includes a small wheel for Mickey's Fun Wheel / Pixar Pal-A-Round. Personally I attached it with a tiny bit of superglue.

Filaments used in photos: Sunlu Matte White (miniature), Bambu Matte Black (frame), Sunlu Sky Blue (water)

Framing Details

This model measures almost exactly 6.7in by 4.7in (170.5mm X 119.5mm) and should fit most 5x7 frames (assuming frame lip/overlap is around a quarter inch). Feel free to change the scale/size of the model(s) to meet your needs.

Personally I use these cheap frames from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C8HY7YSQ

And blue printer paper: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00006IDQT

I also included a fully printable frame (including a 1mm thick water plate) designed to fit all my miniature cities.

Gif of the Printable Frame

A frame is not required! This model looks great by itself and can be displayed almost anywhere.

I love this print. I have printed it out several times and given them away to friends. I messed with the Z axis a bit to get a little more pop.

Did you use a .4 or .2 nozzle? I printed with .4 and it definitely doesn't look like the designers pictures or yours. I'd say my print looks muddy My plan is to scale it up and try again, maybe even use a different color for the ground. It's hard to see the details, in my opinion.

I used a .4. I did adjust the z axis to an inch to see more detail.

How's the need to scale it to an inch square with it being a 5 star print? There's something badly wrong with this model vs the photos.

Came out perfectly, scaled up to 135% to fit on my P1S, highly recommend, print profile was perfect and the overhangs printed with near perfect precision, what a model! Cant wait to see other theme parks printed that could join the collection, great job!

If I could add a suggestion for another map I would say Universal Studios Hollywood, I think it would look really good with the height elevation of the different sections of the park and with the different sound stages

I scaled this print up on the XY by 135% and the Z access by 430% this allows everything to stand out much better. I also printed in white and grey, the grey is much cleaner to see the details. when the frame is printed at 135% it just fits on the 256x256 plate. alternatively I printed at 100% and it fits absolutely perfectly in the frames linked on Amazon.
