Description

Hey there.

A friend of mine asked me to make him a dock / wall mount for his Hormann / Garador garage door remote, this is the end product.

Very simple design but designed well and looks great in my opinion. Mounts to the wall or wherever you like using 2x countersunk screws using the countersunk holes, I suggest 4mm screws but the mount will accept screws larger or smaller than this (just check the heads of larger ones don't catch the remote).

The attached file allows a little wriggle room so the remote drops in and removed quickly and easily. If you prefer a tighter fit depending on where it's mount just scale the model down 1-2%. There's a notch at the base of the mount that serves two functions, makes it easier to remove the remote and also allows the remotes with keychains to fit.

I've provided print profiles for PLA+ and ABS+ ENSURE YOU CHOOSE THE CORRECT PROFILE.

The remote dock in the pictures was printed in Black eSun ABS+ so I've provided the print profile for that. These profiles were made for strength and aesthetics, not for speed but the dock only takes 1 hour 15 mins on a Bambu printer anyway. 6 walls 15% infill 0.12mm layer height and nice big safe brim.
