Description
This year for Easter, my school's Christian club are selling keychains, little wooden ones that we are hand-painting, but I am not artistically talented, so I was like, “ Can I design and 3D print some?” and they were like, “Sure!” So I did, and I wanted to share it with you guys this Easter. Hope you guys enjoy!
Features
Multi-coloured with minimal waste: I designed these keychains so that there are four distinct “tiers” so that this can be printed with only 4 colour changes, kinda like a hueforge.
Athsetic layered desing: A benifit of makeing this keychain layered and having four “tiers” is that it is not a flat peice of plastic. It has dimension, which makes it more visually appealing.
Two distinct styles: There are 2 styles of this keychain. One with just a Cross, and one with an empty tomb.
Two different key ring loop hole locations: If you look at the photos, you can see that I have attached my key rings to 2 different spots on the keychain. One is centered, and one is way off to the side for style reasons.
Final Notes and Suggestions
You can buy the key rings here from Amazon, though I bought mine from Michaels.
You will also want needle-nose pliers.
Instead of using key rings, you could do nylon or leather cord, which would also look cool.
In the print profile, there is just one keychain per plate, but the more you make per plate, the more efficient it prints.
