Description

A card-sized container for Magic: The Gathering counters. I designed this to be roughly the same size as a sleeved card so it fits inside most deckboxes. This way you can always bring the counters you need for your deck.

 

I've tested it in every deckbox I own, including MTG Commander / EDH Deckbox.

 

UPDATE!

Thanks to the release of the customizer on Makerworld, you can now create your own counter using the “Customize” button.

 

No Additional Parts

 

This model is fully printed, no parts required.

 

Snap Lid

 

I've designed the lid to snap shut to make sure it doesn't open when you take it out of your deckbox.

 

Including Counters

 

Print profile contains a set of counters, place a comment to request more. The container also fits Citadel Black's Metal Buff Counters.

Came out really nice with 0.2mm nozzle - perfect for keeping track of my voltron buffs. Made a few tweaks using Arena logo's for keywords.

I did these in Maya - flat planes from textures and then extruded up for depth

Great design! With minimal post processing on the sliding edges of the case cover everything fits perfectly and slides and clicks in nicely. The counters just look incredible when printed with the 0.2mm nozzle!

Bambu PLA Matte
I used Bambu matte black PLA. The slot split when I inserted the lid the first time. The other profile for non-matte filaments worked well with black matte PLA.

mine broke as well but I am pretty sure I selected the non-matte filaments profile. maybe not

this design does not work with matte PLA. the material cannot hold up to the strain put on the parts. tried printig twice, once with the profile intended for matte PLA and another with the profile intended for normal PLA. print was successful both times but promptly broke when the two parts of the case were put together. the tray part of the case is the offending part and failed in the same way both times, splitting along a layer line where the lip meets the case body (see included picture)

Just to check, did you make sure to insert the lid with the notches in first? If you insert the flat side first, the case will break.

yes, the lid was inserted notch first. the case printed using matte PLA profile split catastrophically along it’s entire length upon the first insertion (shown in previous photo). the case printed using the default profile for normal PLA fared slightly better but began to show signs of splitting in after 4 insertions, finally failing upon the fourth extraction.

great tokens, good profile the color change is in the second plate, not in the single counters, so just swap the counters in and out of the second plate as needed. Great for general counters an purpose built for decks

Looking good! Sadly yes, I cannot add multiple colors using the customizer. So swapping using the prepared print profile is needed.

after printing I couldn’t open without pliers. After pulling and pushing it closed several times I can now open and close easier. PPP

Awesome little counter collection. the box fits in all of my deck boxes including the dragon shield cardboard boxes. The lid is a tight fit which is a good thing so that the counters stay put.
