For a few months now, I've had an IKEA Trådfri light bulb sitting on my desk as a status light, informing me of all sorts of things by blinking in different colors. The sight of the bare bulb got a bit old and caused way too many questions from visitors. So I designed this lampshade that fits seamlessly around the socket of the Trådfri bulb and the mount I got from Amazon. With the shade it is much easier on the eye, both when the lamp is lit to indicate and when it is off.
I printed the model in vase mode with a 0.8mm nozzle, a line width of 1mm and a line height of 0.24mm using the White Matte PLA from BambuLab. It creates a nice diffused glow that works very well for my use case. You might want to experiment with thinner walls if you want to use it mainly as a traditional lamp.
