Description

Remixed from: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4978318

Original description from Thingiverse:
Wellll... I tried about 10 times across 2 different printers and 3 different types of bed to get this thing to work, but the small little fragments on the bottom just would NOT stick down well enough to get to the bridging... so I decided to cut off the "nubs" on the bottom to give it a better chance of actually printing. Will report back with pictures if it actually works. For now, I'm live-streaming my attempts, first with the original design, then with my own: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EislDHbDtGw

My first row turned out lousy... so I recommend supports just for the first row of hexagons. I mightdesign a saucer for it later, but no time for that now.

Like the look of the planter but I think it could be more optimized. The printer does a lot of unnecessary travelmoves because of the variance in xy-wallthickness. Maybe if you had a contour at the bottom and extruded it through curves to the top you could get a planter that is easier and faster to print. Trying it out in PETG atm but I think PLA will print better. Chose PETG because of its UV-resistance
