One box for all your ammo

Product Overview

My design took multiple boxes and combined them into one and you can even store multiple calibers in one box. This ammo box system was developed by me(@shrinermac) to give shooters a reliable, one box size customization, and visually refined storage solution. Designed from the ground up with 3D printing in mind, it provides a balance of durability, organization, and efficient use of space. Every detail supports safe storage, easy transport, and a clean, uniform look on the shelf.

Key Features

One box for all! — This box has a built-in handle for easy carry. The box can stand on all sides allowing them to stack securely and maximize storage space.

Interchangeable Inserts — Removable internal inserts make cleaning simple and allow quick customization for different calibers or layouts. All inserts are the same size so swapping out is easy.

Round Capacity — 50 rounds of rifle ammunition across multiple calibers in each insert. Shotgun inserts hold 32 or 23.

Secure Latching System — A robust latch keeps ammunition protected while still offering quick, convenient access. Each caliber has a corresponding latch.

Durable Construction — The design emphasizes strength, compactness, and a rugged aesthetic suitable for both range use and long‑term storage.

Dust and Moisture Control - The lid and base have an interlocking groove where a 1.4mm x .8mm TPU gasket can be inserted for even more dust and moisture control.

Design Intent
 

The system was created to store, protect, transport, and separate ammunition in a way that is both functional and visually appealing. Its consistent footprint and modular interior make it a practical solution for shooters who value organization, efficiency and space. I left the top open for your own SVG customization.

Assembly:

Join the lid and base:

Align the lid’s hinge tabs with the grooves on the back of the base.

Slide the lid upward into the hinge slots.

If it resists, wiggle the hinge slightly as you continue sliding.

Stop when it clicks in and moves smoothly.

Attach the front latch:

Insert the top side of the latch into the lid at a slight angle.

Press or lightly squeeze the top until it snaps into place.

Keep the flat side facing outward so the lip curves toward the box.

Install the ammo tray:

Press the tray firmly into the box, pushing down on all four corners.

It’s fully seated when the top sits flush all the way around.

I have loaded the box with 7mm Rifle ammo (100 Rounds) and hung it by the handle overnight and it didn't come apart or bend so carrying by handle should not be a problem.
