Turn a normal egg into a cute bunny with Eggehard! (Foodsafe)
I created this little gadget to make boring eggs a bit more fun and Easter-y.
It prints really easily and turns a normal egg into a cute little bunny face. Perfect for breakfast, Easter, or just confusing people at the table.
From start cooking to bunny-egg this only takes a couple of minutes.
Using cling film, seperates the egg from the print - this way it is safe to eat afterwards
- No AMS
- No Supports
- Any Filament will work although I recommend PLA or PETG
!!! Please choose the right print profile according to your egg-size !!!

Note: I only had medium eggs to test this - the other sizes are estimated - please let me know if they fit or need to be changed. Thank you.
A Reddit User told me, that the flat mold for L-Size-Eggs is a bit to big. I am waiting for the measurements right now - than it will be fixed.
For now if anyone happens to find the back/flat mold to big to put pressure on the egg - You can putt a few pieces of kitchen paper inside to increase the pressure. See Changelog for Update:
I will provide a detailed description with photos showing how to make this work and how to keep it food-safe.
Here are the basic steps:
→ Step 1: Boil the egg long enough for it to be rather hard (I used 8.5 minutes)

→ Step 2: Give the egg a quick cool-down under cold water

→ Step 3: Carefully peel the egg → the hotter the better
→ Step 4: Place a piece of cling film into the face mold and place the egg on top of it

→ Step 5: Place another piece of cling film on top of the egg and put the bottom mold over it

→ Step 6: Firmly press both molds together and secure them with the two provided clamps

→ Step 7: Put the whole thing in the freezer for about 10 minutes (don't worry the egg will still be warm)
→ Step 8: Open the mold, remove the cling film, enjoy your bunny egg 🐰
Changelog: :14.03.2026 New Print-Profile with optional inserts added:
These inserts can be added to the back-mold if the eggs are to small to put pressure on. Again - this is optional an can also be archived with kitchen paper.

As always, I am always open for constructive feedback and would love to see how your eggs turned out.
