Naturally, vase mode doesn't make prints watertight, but this is an advantage because it will prevent overwatering, as the excess will seep slowly out the bottom.

Both PLA and PETG work great. You can flex them as much as you want without breaking. This will make it a million times easier to get your plants root system out when it comes time to re-pot them.
