Printed in ABS at 100.20% scale. Good design and I can't complain about the print, but it is a little finicky to install. If you ever need to remove the LED mount...good luck with the adhesive. I soldered silicone wires near the middle of my LED strip, and added a JST connector to plug directly to the P1S so I can control with with the front display/Bambu Handy. Definitely is too bright. I'm not the best with electronics - I'm not sure if I can just add some kind of resistor to make it dimmer.

I am suprised there isn’t more riserless designs. This used way less filament then most risers, and I didn’t have to rework my existing ventilation solution! assembly was pretty easy, albeit a little finicky, but the end result is good. printed in Bambu PETG with tree supports for the big front piece. My LED light are maybe a bit too bright for my liking, but that’s not a fault of the design.

Excellent design job; I print it in ABS with no issue. I turn 90 degrees the piece that needs support to minimize the support and use tree support. Oh, and I also changed the infill for gyro; it's much stronger. I use the 4-piece model. That can't be installed on an X1C (Sadely). There is a cover on the right side, and the left side is in the way of the chain link... No good.

I want to cry. lol. I’ve been looking for a good way to mount led strip inside the X1C since I got it, I refuse to use a riser!

That's why I downloaded it. I would like it to work. Like you, I don't want a riser. I like your joint system with the taper pin. The sad thing is inside the X1C, on the left side, there is a cap covering a PCB and a bunch of cables. Plus, there's a bump totally in the way in the middle. I did look for any place to put something and it's like not possible. If you like to have pictures, I can get you some.

@kstudioca Do you have any issues with the LED strip adhesive? I print a lot of ABS and I think the chamber temps might be weakening the adhesive. ALTHOUGH it only seems to be falling off in the right side - I wonder if the PTFE tube rubbing against the LED could be the cause.

Mine hasn't fallen off, really depends on the LED adhesive they used, you can maybe add a bit of superglue at the end of the strip.

Cool, I might just end up making some kind of clip to hold it in multiple places.

How and where should the LED strip be connected?

There is a USB port behind the front panel, if you have an LED with long USB cable should work.

Sadly, it won't work on my X1C. If I can find time and the machine is not busy, I'll try to see if I can make it work. I like the jointing system. Thanks for sharing

printed the long part with no issue using PETG, the shorter lengths took several attempts but I got there in the end. the holes don’t align with the P1P frame but I understand they may have old and new versions. mine is the newer frame. Design was spot on though.
