Description

Why I done it?

First this 3D printer is quite heavy for me and the reinforcement bars were disturbing me to carry the printer.

Second I had print quality issues for the bad structural rigidity that, in previous versions of the CR10, did not have that problem according to what several users have told me.

Also one of the upper bearing was stuck and I have ringing issues showed in the print part

What I need it?

  • 2x M5X50 mm + nuts + o-rings + self locking nut for the upper part
2x upper couplers for each upper support (4 in total)
    2x M5x 60 mm + + nuts + o-rings + self locking nut for the lower part
2 x lower couplers for each lower support (4 in total)
    8x M4x10 + t-nuts
All OEM screws and t-nuts, both upper bearings, the upper bearing cover and the reinforcement bars.
I didn't design the cover for the upper part because you can reuse from factory one.

I has been tested and designing for almost one month and a half. Yeap… Maybe it will be not the best design but I needed it to fix it and put it back to work as soon as I can.

So I will appreciate your comments and likes about the design

Also, you can improve it but take in consideration that the angle that I put, it's to avoid losing z-height,

This is was before that you can see all the issue that I was having:

This is was after that you can see that everything was fixed:

Take in consideration that Creality design machines for hobby not for profesionals… So, for me it's a great improvement.
