Description
In 1935, doctors used to cut into the brain to treat troubled minds. Afterward, patients often seemed happier, more alive, and quicker to smile. But though they looked happy, the procedure had taken something from them something they would never get back.
This sculpture represents the process of a lobotomy and its lasting effects on a man’s future.
