Description
This is a laser cut Easter egg with a picture of Christ in the middle that helps us to remember what Easter is truly about. It was designed by Haven Gee as a Toolbox workshop to be done during the Easter season.
Haven made a video tutorial for assembling the egg, or check the guide down below
The pieces need to be cut out of wood that is no thicker than 2.8 mm, or about 1/8 in, otherwise they may not fit. When finished, you should have the pieces shown below

Assembling the egg can be a little tricky. The photos below should show roughly the best order to assemble the first few pieces, as the order is somewhat precise.

You may have to bend the pieces a little to get this ring half on. Be very careful as some parts of the egg are very thin and delicate

This piece is usually the most difficult to insert. If you are doing this for the first time, it may take a few tries to get it. Yet again, be very careful not to use too much force as this step is most likely to break parts.

Assembling the second half of the outer ring can be a little tricky, and usually requires bending pieces to get the jigsaw connector in place. But once its in, the egg will be very sturdy

Insert the egg inside the cross shaped hole in the base

The egg holds itself together pretty well if the wood is the right thickness. But if you feel it may still come apart, using wood glue may be helpful. Just be careful not to lock the Christ picture in place as it was designed to spin inside the egg.
