Description

This product was created with the idea of “wonder” in mind and is based off of my own internal emotional state. This bookmark tries to show the two sides of chaos - balance and “unpredictableness”. The rest, I guess, depends on your interpretation of what its showing.

On flip side it's just a cool looking bookmark. :)

This bookmark is my second iteration and after careful consideration I have decided that these are the best dimensions for this bookmark given its intended semi-flexible and supposed durable nature:

180mm(Length) x 57mm(width) x 1.2mm(thickness)

Print with standard bambu printer settings most important being..:

  • 0.2mm layer height
  • No support
  • No brim

For those that prefer a thinner bookmark either because they're very self aware that the bookmark will leave a mark in their favourite books, or because it feels too chunky and any other reasons….I suggest resizing the thickness to 1mm (yes, that's 5 x 0.2mm layers for you nerds out there). That said, I wouldn't recommend resizing below 1mm because of the inevitable problem of structural integrity but you do you I guess.

For those sceptical of whether or not there will be stringing caused by the sheer amount of detail in this print, well…let me assure you and say that "yes" there will be some stringing but after a quick, now emphasis on the “QUICK”, treatment of heat (preferably a heat gun, or just a stove C; ) you can alleviate most of the stringing. But please note that the really thin part of the dancer on the bookmark which hopefully you've realised by now is more fragile than the rest of the bookmark so it will bend easily if you apply too much heat in that spot so be quick. You could also apply heat to it while its on a flat surface :)

It took me a lot of time to make this. So help me out here and leave a like, I'd really appreciate it if you did.

Thank you for reading this far, and hey, keep reading :)
