Description

Spitfire Plane kit card. If the parts don't snap together use glue.

print settings:

-Layer Height 0.12 mm

-Initial layer Height 0.2 mm

-normal support

-no raft or skirt

instructions:

-remove every element from the frame

-put together the propeller and its shaft

-place the assembled propeller, rear landing gear and interconnect into one side of the fuselage

-squeeze together the 2 halves of the fuselage

-assemble the wings with the provided interconnect

-push the wings into the fuselage

-place the landing gears into the wing

-glue the cockpit windshield onto the body

-push the elevators into the fuselage

came out fine. maybe make it bigger.

the assembly is very hard an i had to trimm parts. still can't get the wheels to fit and i had to use glue for the whole build

Strange. For me apart from the wheels everything fit together well without trimming.

I printed it with a heavily modified tronxy xy2. Just make sure you have the z offset dialed in correctly as it can mess with the tolarences.

Other Issues:propeller strung out and didn’t print. nice model but the support connectors are too thick and make it difficult to remove from the model without damaging it. great effort though and has potential.

Thank you for the feedback! I modified the support connectors. As for the propeller I am not sure I understand your problem but I have enabled supports on all 3 print profiles.
