Bone Placement Tool
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is designed to center the bone puck and the bone transducer. Place the puck on the microphone. Place the bone placement tool over that. Place the transducer over the opening. Gently set the weight on the transducer to hold it all in place. This tool was designed and tested using PETG on a P1S with a standard plate. Because the tolerances may slightly vary from one type of printer to another, be aware that it may not work as well in other conditions. Because the top layer is so thin, allow the plate to cool completely before trying to remove it. This tool is printed in two parts which are connected with pegs and glued in place. The placement tool is designed to fit into a spot in the rear Calluna peripheral foam piece I designed. This tool is not intended for most people and would be unhelpful in any other situation. For those who know what it is, it should be immensely helpful. Those who understand can contact me using diei to let me know if there are any adjustments needed. This is a part of an entire system including front and back Calluna topper, front and back containers to replace the peripheral foam pieces, and sundry containers and adapters. The pictures with this piece show how it fits in the whole.
