Launchable Glider

This publication contains a glider and two rubber band handheld Glider Launcher iterations. 

Glider:

• Print Settings: The glider should be printed at 100% infill. 
• Description: The glider has a hook attached to the nose of the airplane so it can be launched with a rubber band. The addition of the hook moved the center of gravity toward the front of the plane, improving its flight length.

Standard Glider Launcher:

• Print Settings: The Standard Glider Launcher can be printed at default settings. The print will be strongest with the ring horizontal to the build plate. 
• Description: The Standard Glider Launcher was designed to work with the attached glider. The Standard Glider Launcher and attached glider work with size 18 rubber bands (At least these are the rubber bands I used).

Larger Glider Launcher:

• Print Settings: The Larger Glider Launcher can be printed with default supports in the default slicer settings. The print will be strongest with the ring horizontal to the build plate. 
• Description: The Larger Glider Launcher words with size 18 rubber bands, but ideally larger rubber bands. The Larger Glider Launcher was designed, with thicker rubber bands in mind, to launch the glider printed to the scale of the Prusa XL buildplate.
