Low Poly Easter Bunny
Print Profile(1)

Description
Easter is just around the corner, so here's a low poly easter bunny. In my opinion it turned out really really good. This model makes a great decorative item - even after easter.
For an even better look i would suggest printing it with a lower layer hight (I used 0.20mm). What also could create a really nice surface finish is using CF infused filament instead of regular PETG/PLA.
The model was created with MakerWorlds Image-to-3D Tool with a picture template i created. After that i altered the model to make it ready for 3D printing.
The Version in my pictures was printed with an H2C and PLA (left Nozzle) as support for PETG-HF (right Nozzle). The published print profile only includes regular support structures (same material as the print itself), so its a print-in-place.
I already printed two versions - you see both in the profilce pictures.
The big Bunny was scaled to 100% (this is also the size it is scaled to in the provided print profile)
The small Bunny was scaled to 40%.
I am happy to share my support settings, if you would also like to use PLA as support for PETG (perfect if you own an H2D or H2C). Obviously the model can be printed perfectly with regular supports, but PLA support for PETG will reduce scaring from support removal (but scars should be minimal on this model anyways).
What you have to change for PLA as support for PETG.
Base Filament: PETG
Support Filament: PLA
In the “Support” Tab in Bambu Studio:
- Enable Support
- Type: tree(auto)
- On build plate only
- Support/raft base: Default (PETG in this case)
- Support/raft Interface: PLA
- Top Z distance: 0
- Bottom Z distance: 0
- Base pattern: Rectilinear
- Base pattern spacing: 2
- Interface pattern: Rectilinear
- Top Interface spacing: 0
- Support/object xy distance: 0.5
I saved those settings in a different profile to have it ready if needed.
Alternatively you can play around with the new support settings in the latest Bambu Studio called “Enable ironing support interface”. This should create really nice support areas even without specific support material.
If you like my model i would be very happy about a like, a 5 Star rating and / or a boost. Thank you very much!
