Description

We had a room in our new house (a few years ago) with a blank switch plate way up high on the wall. I thought it would be fun to put a plate cover on it that was inspired by the question mark block in Nintendo Mario game. Later, I decided to add the holes so it could be used with a single switch.

It is done with normal printer settings with color changes. I also did ironing. The one that has some mistakes on it was done with the default settings, and then I updated them for the one that looks better which is also the Print Profile.

Start with Dark Brown.

At Layer 17 change to a Yellow or Gold

At Layer 21 change to White.

The back plate can be printed all in Dark Brown.

Glue the two pieces together. I made the back with more room around the edges than my previous plate back to help with gluing.

I designed it to be around the size of a mid sized switch cover so it is about 4 7/8" tall 3 1/16 wide. It is about 1/4" at the thickest when assembled.
