Turtle Climbing Platform

This is a platform for any smaller pets to climb up or go under. There are several .1in x .1in squares on the ramp for grip to make it easier for the animal to climb up on. I also made several .02in groves at the top of the platform to give the animal more grip as well as make it look better and for a place for water to drain out. I also made a version for a 5.5-gallon tank that is slightly longer and has a water dish insert that you can print. The model with the water dish fits on the smaller side of the 5.5-gallon tank perfectly. The water dish is removable to change the water more easily. The largest of the platform option still is able to fit on the short side of a 5.5-gallon tank. The largest option also has a less steep ramp which makes it much easier for any animal to climb up. If you are printing either of the ones with ought the dish holder, I would recommend you use an outer brim as well as set the bed temperature around 75F to keep the edges from warping. There should not need to be any support used and it should be printed so that the side of the model with the ramp in on the print bed.

The model with the dish holder should be printed so that the top of it (The face with the grooves cut into it) should be on the print bed with supports on to support the dish holder cutout.

I have also created a holder that will suspend the platforms in the air. The “Turtle Platform Holder (Small)” will work with the small base version and also has space to put a water cup on the side of it. Only the “Turtle Platform Holder (Small) Dish” will work with the platform holder because the dishes for the holder and the one built into the platform are different sizes. The regular “Turtle Platform Holder” will work with both the “Large Turtle Climbing Platform” and “Turtle Climbing Platform With Dish”. There is not a place to put a water dish on this version. To use either of these, place the platform in the holder and then the two hook type ends will grab onto the sides of the tank.  Both versions only work on the smaller side of 5.5-gallon tanks. Also, I would strongly recommend that you print it at 50% speed or use supports because that dramatically reduces the chances of the print failing when it gets to the top bridging section towards the end!

Modular Turtle Climbing Platform

 This is, like in the name, a platform like the ones in this posting, but modular so you can change things about it to make it more suitable for your personal needs. It is harder to print and there are more parts than the ones in this posting, but that allows more freedom to do what you want with the models. The main modular thing is the ramp, you can now just replace the ramp and make it less steep as your pet ages or for any other reason, so you don't need to reprint everything when you only need the ramp. The only reason it is not on this posting is because I didn't want to make it any more confusing than it already is to find out what files work with what version of the platform.
