Description

My kid's crib is at its last leg. I've already bought like a dozen of these, and that's the last kid, so this one needs to make it another 6-12 months no matter what.

The shorter side is only a press fit on a wooden dowel, possibly with a bit of wood from the factory. I tried gluing it before, but it's a moving structure, so the glue gave way.

This bracket will hold the bottom of the frame together to mitigate the problem.

I totally overkilled it with 4 screws per corner.

Printing

  • I printed with 5 parameters and 25% infill. In a Grogu leftover color :)
  • Print upside down with a brim for clean corners.
  • Since taking these pictures I've chamfered the edges a little.

Assembly

  1. Remove one of the hex screws holding the bed in place.
  2. Slide the adapter from below and screw the hex back in.
  3. I predrilled all the holes to avoid splitting the wood.
  4. Use any screws, the holes are quite large. I used 4x16.

Just because it's a baby-related product, I want to add that you're using this at your own risk.
