Description

Practical? Not really. Fun? Absolutely. Beautiful? Maybe. Worth printing? Definitely.

This toothpick tree might not be something everyone needs in their life, but that’s kind of the point of 3D printing and creating new things right? I got the idea stuck in my head and simply had to make it. So here it is for anyone who feels like they might need a toothpick tree in their life! (Toothpicks not included)

I’ve created two print profiles.

The first one, the one I used, is printed on two plates using AMS to achieve the toothpick color detail in the tree trunk. I don’t use a prime tower and it still turns out great while wasting very little filament.

The second print profile is printed on a single plate with a 0.12 mm layer height for a faster print. In this version, everything is printed in the same color for those who don’t care about the color detail.

Do it your way :)
