Description

V2 is out! check it out!: https://makerworld.com/en/models/436679#profileId-341845

Didn't tested it for it yet, but pretty sure it will work for bambu refills as well :)

If you download the raw files and don't use my print profile, here are a few points to consider:

- It is recommended to use:
- At least 4 walls
- At least 4 top layers
- At least 4 bottom layers
- 15% infill or more
- For threaded parts, it MUST be printed at least at 0.15mm layer height, otherwise IT WILL NOT FIT (you can either print the entire model with this layer height or use adaptive layer height only for the threaded parts).
- No supports are necessary.

No issues printing, but I turned off the brim. Where it separated, it left a hard edge that I had to work my way around to smooth out. I went to load my first Bambu refill and realized these do not have the notch where the RFID tag goes. I ended up going with the Bambu model for the refill, but still use this for a small spool. One thing that would be nice is if the adapter had a taper that allowed the spool to press into and center on instead of eyeballing it when tightening the adapter down.

Very nice print! I had printed this as an adapter for a small spool (Sunlu 250g, specifically, as I'm new to 3D printing and spool sizes did not occur to me; lesson learned) but the width of the "arm" that goes through the spool is a bit too thick for the spool hole so it couldn't be used as an adapter. However, I'm still happy with the print (Speed Lines) as I can use it to respool still or for future projects. It has a very nice look and solid feel though, again, if your small spool has a narrower hole than the standard, I would recommend either finding a different spool, getting an adapter, or understanding that you'll be respooling. I look forward to making the other two prints so as to have a few extra spools on hand. :)

hi friend, thank you for your really valuable feedback. If I understand correctly the spool hole diameter on the Sunlu 250g was too small for the model, I looked online and found the dimensions of a 250g Sunlu spool which is 32mm, I modified the design of one of the print profiles that you haven't printed to have a diameter of 31mm; this should fit. Print rofile is "Lightning, SMALL CENTER", if you want to test it before printing the entire file, you can just print the "respool adapter." If you do, let me know, and I'll update the other designs :) Again, BIG thanks for that feedback!

Oh, wow! thank you so very much! I will definitely try that out. I was just coming back to add that I was actually able to use your adapter for a smaller spool that had a wider whole diameter and it worked perfectly so I was able to find an almost immediate use for it. :)

Sorry for the delay! I just printed your small center version and it worked for the Sunlu 250g! Thank you again for taking the time and being willing to adjust your models. <3
