My wife wanted to buy some of the new fabric/knitted/crochet pumpkins to decorate our house, because Fall… 10-15 bucks for a small little pumpkin? Hold my beer!
I have designed several decorative pumpkins which will apparently be taking residence on my living room mantle with Fall inspired miniature gnomes and fake flowers for the near foreseeable future. As you can likely tell, I am not able to contain all this fall excitement and wanted share these models with the community so you too can get in touch with your inner “basic white girl”, preferably while sipping on a pumpkin spice latte.
This first design was printed in matte green Polymaker PLA with tuned settings for my X1C. I highly suggest you run your own calibration for your desired filament. The infill is set to lightening to help cut down on the print time as this is a decorative piece but any infill at your preference around 10-15% should be adequate. I printed at 0.12 layer height with a 0.4 mm nozzle on standard Bambu speed settings with painted tree supports on the bottom.
Let me know what you think, and I will be posting the other versions as I am able to print off more for our home. Upcoming models include crocheted as seen on the smaller pumpkin, thicker crocheted, and carved.
The attached raw file is high poly count. MakerWorld unfortunately is not letting me add the .3mf profile as it is timing out slicing during the verification process. Please see the attached example picture for how I set up the supports using manual tree supports.
