Description

This is a slim-fit hinged bracket for the AD5M lid. The Bases are to be glued down to the rear shelf and use 2x M3 Bolts and Nuts to secure the hinge to the plexiglass. Standard filament is used as the hinge pin.

I can't figure out how to fit the hinges without having the plexi get raised up by the height of the hinge. What am I missing

What is the thickness of your plexiglass? Did you mount the hinge in the recessed area of the enclosure?

I have the same issue/concern. I put the hinge base pieces in the recessed area, but it is then flush with the top. Adding the hinge piece to the plexiglass will result in the plexiglass no longer being flush to the back of the enclosure. Can you post a picture of your glass top in the front as well? Did you trim it to sit flush? Or do you leave it either resting on the top front of the enclosure or resting on your risers? I love the idea of both of your items. I want to make them work very badly.
