Description

I didn't really like the default Bambu studio profile for Polycarbonate (PC), I found it not good enough so I made a few tweaks, I use this profile and it gives me really good results, hope you like it!

Is this for pure polycarbonate? I have had 2 rolls here and never got a decent print out of them with other printers. (Enclosure 300c 110 on the bed always warped before.) Hoping to get this preset to work. Thanks

I used it for a local brand that claims to be really pure but it printed really nicely with 265C so I'm not entirely sure, just try to bumb out the temps, everything else should stay the same. Also make sure you preheat the chamber to at least 40C, you do that by heating your bed up to 100C and letting it sit with the doors closed until the chamber reaches 40C (about 45 minutes). And dry it, I used the drying function on the X1C that worked remarkably well but 2 days out and the filament needed another drying session. Good luck!

Wow 265 seems low for real pc. idk... Good tip on the chamber heat tx. Just warming filament isent really an effective method of drying out the inside of the filament. Even though everyone does it. A 2.5 gal paint pot with a clear lid (Thick) ir lamps and a vacuum pump is the way to dry filament. And its fast...

Sounds like a good way to dry it but I have another dead printer that I use it's heat bed instead of the Bambu's, it's not the best but it definitely works. Did the profile help you print PC easier?

Hi, glad to see you used my profile! As you gave it 4 stars that raises the question, what is there to fix? If there's anything I missed please let me know and I'll update the profile asap. Thanks!
