Description

This is the print profile for the battle bot I designed and manufactured for my senior project. It is a 3 lb. crusher type robot, the file has all the parts necessary for the chassis, weapon arm, and armor. The setting are set so that there is a brim on all pieces and that the supports are where they need to be. The material is set to PAHT-CF with a 0.6 mm nozzle with a 30% infill, this is due to the fact that this is the filament I used for my project, if you just want to have some of these parts for fun, feel free to change the infill, material, and nozzle settings to fit your situation.

The claw tip is machined aluminum, and the back armor seen in the picture is cut UMHW. I have included these parts as potential print option in the raw files of this model for those that want a full plastic robot.

You will need to purchase the motors, ESC, batteries, threaded inserts, controller/receiver, and screws. The motors I used are the 22mm brushed motors from Itgresa.com, as well as their Scorpion mini esc, and galaxy 1000mAh batteries. The threaded inserts I got from amazon, and the screws came from my local Ace Hardware. Chicago screws (also found on amazon) connect the base plate, top plate, and back plate of the chassis together. The Chicago screws also connect the gear housing to the planetary gears, connect the gear box to the weapon arm, and connect the weapon assembly to the top plate, they also keep the claw tip connected to the weapon arm. You will also need to purchase ball bearings for the gear housing, and the central shaft of the weapon assembly, where it connects to the top plate.
