I wanted to design my own octopus from scratch, so I made this one on tinkercad. I designed it to have more articulation in the tentacles than other ones I've seen. I also wanted the tentacles to hang down more and have suckers on the bottom. It turned out really fun.
I've included a file with the original version's face on this new model, just in case you were fond of that one.
You can also print the stand for it to go on. (3 different versions. My original test print, one that's a little taller, and one that's a little shorter)
Instead of tips, please let me know how these work for you and post pictures of your prints. I love reading your comments and seeing your makes!
Single-print, no assembly, no supports.
EDIT:
I've provided two additional versions without supports in case you wanted to add your own. (Octopus_2.0_nosupp, Octopus_OG_nosupp) I have also tried to fix some issues some people have had with the built-in supports with updated version: Octopus_2.1.

Filament: Xvico PLA Rainbow
Notes:
I printed the octopus with 4 shells at 0% infill, but it works just fine at normal default settings. I printed the stand with 25% infill, but I'd probably go higher to give it a little more weight.
