Fidget measuring ring

This Fidget Measuring Ring is a compact, satisfying measuring wheel designed for both utility and play. It measures distance in 0,5cm increments, giving a tactile and audible click every 10 centimeters thanks to an internal 3-magnet detent system. Smooth rolling is ensured by a 688ZZ bearing, making it fun to fidget with while staying accurate.

No post-processing is required after printing — just a simple assembly.

🔧 Assembly Instructions

1. Glue one magnet into the hexagonal hole in the body.
2. Let the glue fully dry.
3. Insert the other two magnets — they will snap into place automatically.
4. insert bearing to the wheel. Place the wheel on top (magnets go to the hole freely - NO GLUING).
5. Glue the middle piece and the dial together.
6. Do NOT glue the dial to the body — align the pins and snap them together.

That’s it! Simple and clean.

• The print is tuned for snap-fit assembly.
• If you feel too much friction, slightly adjust tolerances or scaling to your preference.
• For a two-color version, use the second print profile:
  • A PAUSE is included so you can swap filament mid-print.
• ⚠️ IRON ONLY THE DIAL — NEVER THE BODY

  • Ironing the body will affect tolerances and snap fit.
