MAGConnect - Dust Extraction Adaptors
The MAGConnect magnetic dust Extraction adaptor system has been designed to provide a fast and airtight connection between dust extraction hoses and machines where frequent attachment and removal is required. The integrated magnetic connection allows the adaptors to snap into place quickly while still holding firmly during operation, making it ideal for smaller workshops where tools are regularly changed.
Each adaptor utilises six 10mm × 3mm round neodymium magnets, housed in dedicated recess pockets. When glued in place, the magnets sit flush with the surface for a clean, professional finish. When paired with a matching magnetic adaptor, the connection is strong enough for high-flow dust extractors while still remaining easy to detach by hand.
Model Number Guide
M = Metric
First two digits = Adaptor diameter (mm)
Second two digits = Collar length (mm)
Suffix:
- i = Internal diameter
- e = External diameter
- s = Threaded
Example
M5050es = 50mm diameter, 50mm collar length, external diameter, threaded
M7530i = 75mm diameter, 30mm collar length, internal diameter
Custom Sizes Available
Custom adaptor sizes can be created on request. To produce a correctly fitting adaptor, the following information is required (in mm):
- Diameter (Internal or External)
- Collar length
- Thread required
Once this information are provided, the custom adaptor will be modelled and uploaded.
Assembly Notes
- Glue the magnets into the recessed pockets using CA glue. These should be installed rotating the polarities (e.g. North, South, North…. etc.) in each recess, this ensures all adaptors will be compatible with each other using the MAGConnect system.
- Glue a suitable O-ring into the groove on one of the mating adaptor before use (If you glue the O-Ring on the movable hose adaptor you will use less O-Rings)
