Description

Let's face it, gridfinity rocks, and so does IKEA. In my “gridfinity everything” phase that I'm going through, I made a custom baseplate that allows the base to fit into IKEA's Kuggis Box (105.140.42) - also here.

To Assemble:

  • Print 2x Small Dovetails
  • Print 2x Large Dovetails
  • Print each part of the baseplate

Open Source Note:

In the spirit of open source, I have included my original fusion file. Please keep in mind I'm really new to this whole 3d thing and did my best. If you find any problems (which I'm sure you will), I'd love some feedback and tips. Remixes are certainly welcomed but make sure you give some sort of attribution. Thanks for downloading this model!

Updates:

Update 01/03/2023Added one with solid base for easier gluing – pre cut into parts.Update 1/10/2023Added little dovetails into this assembly + F3d files.

Notes:

As always, your make may vary. I am by no means an engineer or really great at CAD, so your feedback means a lot. If you have any tips, tricks, or questions, leave a comment!
