Description

Overview

This is my LTTStore screwdriver mount for my Ikea Skadis, which uses the T Nut System made by 6d6178 and was made using dimensions from MiniMadRyan's LTT Screwdriver Mockup. It has a number of versions included with/without logos embossed, and a couple 3MFs with multiple parts so you can use your MMUs / X1 Carbons to do multicolor printing.

T Nut Screw Specs

The T nut system uses M2 or M2.5 screws to mount to the IKEA SKÅDIS pegboard system. I've included both versions here so you can use whichever you choose. But, there are max lengths:

  • The longest screw you can use is 24mm long ex. M2.5x24
  • The shortest screw you can use is 12mm long ex. M2.5x12

I personally used these: https://www.mcmaster.com/91290A104/ but McMaster-Carr is expensive, so you could use Amazon if needed to find them. If following precisely what I did, you should print out the M2.5 Diameter file of your choosing (more on that next). You will also need a DIN934 hex nut of matching size to your screw.

Names and what they mean

LTTSkadis - Screw Diameter - Type of Logo (Embossed, Multicolor, or None) - Fillet or No Fillet

For example: "LTTSkadis - M2.5 - Multicolor - With Fillet" is this:

Printing

You should be able to print everything without supports, the back support has a chamfer to support this. Print the mount of your choosing and one of the T Nuts of your choosing from here. Just make sure those two match.

Terms

Your results obviously may vary. As of publishing this model, I am out of town and won't be able to test fit. I am still new to CAD and although I think this design is pretty sound, I'm not sure. Please feel free to give feedback, it is most welcomed. Thanks and happy printing.

Updates

I will update this section as needed to give an overview of how progress is being made. It is my goal to constantly improve based off of peoples feedback.
