Welcome to the 3rd revision of the refill spool! Thanks for all the feedback that's made this an even better spool!

 

✅ Compatibility:

  • ✅ AMS Lite (Only have an A1 Mini? Check out the 180mm verison here)
  • ✅ AMS1 & AMS2 Pro
  • Filaments:
    • Bambu Lab Refill Spools
    • Polymaker Refill Spools
    • Any standard cardboard core refill (82mm ID, 60mm width)

 

🚀 Key Features:

  • Super Lightweight: Only 84g of PLA/PETG, or 68g of ABS. Compared to 130g+ for other spools
  • Space Saver: When not in use, you can stack 4 of these in the space of just 1 regular spool
  • Smart Design:
    • "No-kink" filament retention system
    • Easy swap system using filament straps
    • Integrated Bolt Design: Includes backup holes (Note: The bolts are designed to bottom out—don't overtighten!)
  • Swappable Labels: Label your spools clearly! Swap them out whenever you change filament. Includes a customizable model to create your own text labels
  • NFC Tag Support:
    • Reuse old Bambu Lab Filament NFC tags on other brands for auto-read
    • Support for 20 and 25mm NFC stickers for inventory tracking
    • An alternate “Side 1” compatible with OpenPrintTag
  • Optional Desiccant Core: Keep your filament dry right on the spool

 

📝 Printing & Notes:

  • Material: I highly recommend printing in PETG or ABS if you plan to use this in a filament dryer (PLA might warp!)
  • Tools: Includes a printable tool, or use a flat-head screwdriver
  • Print Settings: 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm standard layer height (recommended: 0.15mm layer height for the thread sections)
