The DarwinFPV BabyApe is the perfect beginner quad and makes absolute fun flying. But as a beginner, you are most likely going to crash your drone in the ground or on hard concrete.

So i designed this Landing Gear 3" version 2. The version 2 arms are a little bit thicker and therefore the old skids would not fit anymore.

It is designed to lift the Quad off the ground and secure the motors in a crash. Also the motor screws are now secured from getting damage by sliding over concrete.

The Landing Gear must be printed in TPU.

Print the open side up and you need no supports.

For a perfect Result you should always use and print directly out of a Filament Dryer, when printing TPU.
