Description
Update 16/04/2024 - before printing, check out this new model!
Differences of the remix compared to the original
Twist cap:
- Crossbar changed to nubs to increase vent area
- Frame thinned from 2mm to 1.6mm to increase vent area and reduce print time
- Vent wall thinned
- Vent wall separated into a different STL to allow better control over pint settings in the slicer
Main body
- Vent area diameter increased from 40.6mm to 46.8mm
- Minor changes to increase internal capacity and reduce print time
- Vent wall thinned
- Vent wall separated into a different STL to allow better control over pint settings in the slicer
- Version with slotted holes on the sides added - the extra venting allows the whole canister to be dried in a microwave or oven a little faster (doesn't make much difference inside a spool)
Lock
- “Spool Lock Extended 16mm” added - to work with wider spools.
Fitment tested on:
- Prusament spools
- Bambu spools
- eSun spools
50% triangular infill works well for the vent walls.
Import the main part and the mesh part together to make sure they're aligned.
Mine are printed in Prusament ASA and seem fine when I put them in the microwave to refresh the desiccant.
Ironing the top surfaces made a nice flat look!
