Description

I made this Djembe for a local music education program that caters to a diverse audience, ranging from infants to 5-year-olds, introducing them to the fundamentals of music through rhythms, beats, total patterns, and rhythm variations.

Additionally, this program extends their efforts to enhance the lives of seniors, particularly those facing dementia. Their innovative approach involves using music therapy to help individuals regain certain abilities, such as manipulating objects and sustaining activities. This becomes particularly crucial when traditional communication and other skills have started to decline. For residents in assisted living, incorporating drums and various instruments into their daily exercise routine promotes physical activity and cognitive engagement, focusing on elements like rhythm and stick movement.

The profile is set to print in 2 colors to visually separate the drum head from the body.

I recommend printing this in PETG. PLA works great, too, but PETG seems to have better tonal qualities. At least to my ears.
