*** YOU WILL NEED KEYBOARD SWITCHES - SUCH AS https://amzn.to/4rum85Q (UK) or https://amzn.to/3OaodW7 (US) ***

Overview

A satisfying double-row keycap clicker that uses Cherry MX-style switches (user-supplied) to create a chunky, pocketable fidget that can also be used as a keychain. Includes two body styles and five lengths, each with an integrated keyring hole.

Tested on a Bambu Lab P1S.

Printing Details

  • Print difficulty: Easy–Medium (press-fit tolerances)
  • Supports: None
  • Brim: None
  • Layer height: 0.16 mm
  • Infill: 15%
  • Recommended filament: PLA or PETG (PLA gives a crisp click; PETG is a bit tougher)

Keycap orientation note:
The included keycap is set up to print with the stem facing up for better bed adhesion. If you prefer a cleaner top surface or want to add top text, you can flip the keycap—but you’ll need to ensure strong adhesion (brim/glue/plate choice as needed).

File Formats Included

  • 3MF only (includes the two print profiles)

Variations

Two body variants:

  • High Wall – more enclosed sides for a sturdier feel.
  • Exposed – more open sides so you can see the switches.

Each variant includes these sizes (double row):

  • 2×1, 2×2, 2×3, 2×4, 2×5

Profiles included:

  • One profile for High Wall
  • One profile for Exposed
  • Each profile contains:
    • a plate with the switch/clicker bodies
    • a plate with one keycap (clone it in the slicer to print as many caps as you want)

Assembly

  1. Press your Cherry MX-style switches into the body until fully seated.
  2. Press the printed keycaps onto the switch stems.
  3. Add a split ring/keychain through the built-in hole if desired.
