Description

Star Wars: Unlimited Custom Tokens

More token types are in the works. If you enjoy my work, feel free to buy me a coffee!

4/17/24 Update: Big update today --

  • Added the oft-requested phase counters (+1+0, +0+1, etc.). There are two design options for each; one which fits into the existing organizer, and one that is a unique shape.
  • Added magnetic lid options for both organizer sizes. You can use these if the snap-in lid gave you troubles or if you just prefer magnets. The holes are sized for 5x3 mm magnets.

3/28/24 Update: Added Sentinel tokens (castle tower design)! Added new options for each lid size with no logo.

3/12/24 Update!: Added 2 new organizer size options! See bullet points at bottom of description for details!

3/7/24 Update!!: Added a lid! It is awesome and just snaps into the token slots. It comes off easily enough that you don't have to apply too much force and then pop all the tokens out by accident.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

These tokens are designed to be used with the new trading card game Star Wars: Unlimited. The designs are inspired by the premium tokens offered by Gamegenic and include:

  • Damage counters (1, 3, 5, 10)
  • Shield tokens,
  • XP tokens (+1/+1)
  • Reminder tokens (generic use)
  • Epic Action tokens
  • Initiative token
  • Phase Counters (+1+0, +0+1, etc)

I've also included an organizer that will allow you to keep these tokens neatly stacked. All organizers even fits in the drawer of the Gamegenic SWU deck pods!

Here is the description for each of the organizers:

  • Small - The original; Has 4 columns that hold 7/4/4/4 each. Holds 19 total.
  • Small (7x4) - Again has 4 columns, but each utilizes the maximum space. Holds 28 total. Will likely appeal most to players who do not plan to use the damage tokens. Leaves enough room in the Gamegenic deck pod drawer for several 12mm dice.
  • Large (7x6) - Has 6 columns that hold 7 tokens each (42 total). This will still fit in the Gamegenic deck pod drawer, but will not leave room for dice EXCEPT for 4 12mm dice that can slot into the left and right rectangular cutouts on each side (see picture).
  • The 7x4 and 7x6 options have a snap-in lid variant as well as one that uses 5x3mm magnets.

Is there any way to use this logo as sentinel instead of the castle? https://imgur.com/a/gA5irnE

Unfortunately something like this is too detailed to come out nicely on something as small as these tokens. You'd need a 0.2mm nozzle to even have a chance for it to look decent, and even then I'm not sure. I chose most of the designs I did due in part to them being simple enough to look nice when printed this small.

i tested this myself but as @mjtx says its to small for token size. Even with a 0.2 nozzle you would still lose detail. This is my result from a 0.4 nozzle. Also this was my first time using cad so I'm sure if can be done better but this was the result I got.

No AMS for me, but a pause and a filament swap at just the right layer height made these turn out beautifully. Thank you!

These are coming out great! I was able to print these on my Prusa by bringing in the STL files manually into Prusa Slicer. My only request is for dedicated sentinel tokens as well! Thanks so much, my gaming group is really enjoying these. They fit perfectly into gamegenic game pods!!! Edit: My only complaint is that my lid doesn't snap on or anything. I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong?

Glad you enjoy them! As for the lid, I made the tolerances as loose as possible in order to keep the lid easy to remove. It should snap in (all of the ones I've printed do), but variances in flow rate and filament types could cause the dimensions to be off just a hair and prevent it from holding in place.

Very nice! This is exactly what ive been looking for! Any chance at designing and throwing in a Sentinel token?

I'm sure I could throw something together. You looking for one that is the same dimensions as the other tokens (and thus fits into the organizer) or one that is totally it's own thing?

Replying to @mjtx :
I agree this would be a great addition. Same size as the tokens would be my vote.

same size is great so it can still be in there. when printed tokens and the large organizer, tokens were a little too big, and the organizer had extra room when put in the deck pod drawer, so I increased just the width and it solved both problems. tokens fit perfectly, and it’s as wide as the drawer so it won’t slide around in there.
