Description

M-LOK Rail Cover - short (flat version)

I needed M-LOK Rail cover for my airsoft sniper rifle (Silverback TAC-41). Unfortunately, all covers which I have found are only for “rounded” barrels, so I remixed the original version to the flat one.

Installation:

You do not have to buy overpriced M-LOK nuts and screws. I recommend check these:

.STL file included - please rescale model to 88 mm length (X axis) in your slicer.

I also uploaded the original .STL file - short “rounded” version of rail.

Printing:

  • PETG or better
  • 100% infill (anyway 25 % triangular would be sufficient)
  • no support
  • 0,10 mm layer heigh (Prusa Mini Quality profile)
  • ironing - not required but it looks much better with ironing ON!

A cool little print! Probably could have used some supports underneath to clean it up a bit.

I couldn't get this to print at all on the A1. I tried at least 7 times, I am brand new to printing so it may be my fault but I couldn't get it to work at all. It curled up and came off the bed with in the 1st 3 layers every time. I made sure the plate was clean. I played with temp settings and tried 3 different filaments. pla tough and basic pla. Nothing worked for me unfortunately.

Hi, I am sorry to hear that... anyway, please try to clean up your bed and maybe if you have an issue with filament adhesion you should try to use "brims" or "mouse ears" function in your slicer.
