Description

This light box is a tribute to the Artemis II mission — the first crewed journey back around the Moon since Apollo. The design features the names of the Artemis II astronauts and is intended as a quiet, glowing nod to a very loud moment in human history.

The model is designed to be printed as a light box and works with standard USB-powered LED strip lights. The type most people already have lying around will do the job just fine. Many of these strips come with a small remote, letting you change colours, brightness, and lighting modes, which works beautifully with the layered depth of the design.

A small but important note: the stand does not include the text shown in the preview images. That’s deliberate. You can easily add your own wording in Bambu Studio using the text tool before printing. This gives you full control — mission dates, a quote, a name, or nothing at all if you prefer a cleaner look.

In my opinion, that flexibility is a feature, not a missing part. Everyone connects to spaceflight differently, and this lets the piece mean something personal rather than forcing a single caption on everyone.

This model is intended for personal display, desks, shelves, or anywhere you want a subtle reminder that we’re still a species that builds machines, straps ourselves into them, and heads back toward the Moon.

Print it clean, light it softly, and let it do what space art does best — sit there quietly and make you think a little bigger.
