Description

2024-04-18 Update:

Added a taller version for cards with larger numbers on them.

Original Description:

A playing card holder with a slight tilt and a second row.

No special settings needed while printing except maybe a brim to prevent the ends from warping off the bed on some printers.

Glad you like it! I hope you don't mind me saying, but I think you can get much better quality out of your prints with that particular filament by slowing it down. Maybe try the generic pla silk profile if you're not already using it. Silks need to be printed at a lower speed than regular filaments, and doing a flow dynamics calibration helps a lot, too. :)

thanks for the tip, I am using original Bambu filament with the rfid, so I guessed the printer uses the ideal settings?

It may depend how you print - if you're using Bambu Studio on a computer then you will need to choose the Silk filament profile yourself. The Bambu Handy app might be smarter, but I suspect it will also require you to manually choose the Silk profile, otherwise it will use the profile for PLA Basic that I set in the project.

My little Boy love this Card Holder. I printed this with PLA Silk, nice smooth Finish.

Thanks! I wanted to comment that you may need to slow down the speed a bit for your silk filament - it will help with the ripple effect. Still looks like it turned out well nonetheless! Cheers

The model looks good but the printing profile at least for the P1P in Bambu Handy is no good. The alignment makes it to wide for the bed and it seemed to try printing anyway. I rotated it in Orca and printed though.

I personally print them diagonally without a brim but I'm not the one who uploaded that profile. Maybe I should upload one at some point.

Just a heads-up that I've uploaded my own print profiles that should work better :)

Lol, how about clicking that button that says "auto arrange" before printing? Don't blame the creator of the model for not using basic logic nor revising before printing. That's on you. 🤦🏻‍♂️

nice print! the rear slot could have been a little higher for visibility, but still good

Honestly I'm surprised more people haven't asked for the rear slot to be higher up. My cards are like yours with larger numbers. I may just add a second variant with a higher slot :)

printed good in PETG, is not completely flat, because of bed adhesion problems probably, so I added little knobs to the bottom. works great and makes even more fun to play cards thanks for sharing
