Technical Details & Print Settings
To ensure the best functionality, I recommend the following settings:
- Material: PETG (for flexibility/durability) or PLA+ (for maximum stiffness).
- Layer Height: 0.16mm or 0.2mm (for clean threads).
- Infill: At least 20% (Gyroid recommended for mechanical stress).
- Walls: 3-4 wall lines for maximum stability of the thread core.
- Support: Only necessary if your printer has difficulties with the spring's overhangs (usually works without!).
Assembly Note
Simply place the spring on the lower shaft and screw in the threaded piece. A drop of silicone oil on the thread works wonders for the feel!
