Modified nozzle wiper with silicon brush

 

  • Remixed version Rev3.2 on Nozzle Wiper with Silicone Plug Remixed by jeffreyxl - MakerWorld
  • Uploaded latest wiper inner Rev3.1. Turn the protruding part of the wiper inner bracket inward to prevent extruded consumables from sticking to it during the 1st layer checking
  • DIY version/Rev3.0 separated 2 parts, wiper inner and outer. They are easier to print and assemble
  • PTFE wiper is exchangeable with original set
  • Little piece of silicone goes in through the side and front fix screw (M2X7 countersink) is for option
  • You may need to use slightly longer but same diameter screw (provided by Bambu for scraper grip) to fit 2 part together
  • Upgraded nozzle wiper design
  • Nozzle wiper inner Rev2.5 is more elastic and pair with wiper outer Rev3.0
  • Print with Bambu PETG Basic filament with better spring effect to remove get rid of extrusive filament
  • Further wipe the residue filament to not bring into the build plate by next silicon brush especially for the 1st layer check
  • 2XM1.5 screw just for align as guide rods (no longer in use on Rev3.0)

  • 1X M3X5 set screw to fix silicon brush (no longer in use on Rev3.0)
  • Remove the center screw on original nozzle wipe to replace the upgraded wiper

I might be doing something wrong but this model hits the build plate. I edited the model so it now works but it's very sloppy. I'm using a 2 mm sheet of silcone as well.

thanks for your feedback. may i know which version you printed. i remixed the inner and outer wiper pls refer to nozzle wiper Rev3.2 using silicone plug. they are better fitting and wiping.

it's the 3.1 version and I'm using a p1s. You don't need the make the silcone sheet slot that big because you can cut a L shape instead of a rectangle for a silcone sheet. I can attach a photo later if needed

I had a silcone sheet lying around as well so I used that instead. I do have some silcone plugs that I could make a remix for but I doubt it will work because rev 3.1 and 3.2 are similar in size.

Actually a great design and the model worked perfectly compared to others. However, the wiper broke after ca.15 prints. I used PETG filament to print this wiper. I printed a spare part and will try again, but it seems that the nozzle is causing to much stress to the wiper roll and after some time the print breaks.

hallo, ich schrieb nicht viele Kommentare, dennoch muss ich diese Konstruktion sehr loben. Es ist Sehr einfach zu Drucken, die Parameter sind Petg angepasst, sodass dies auch hält und es funktioniert Prima!
